Future-Ready Your Career!

On 8th March 2014, the Singapore Management University Office of Postgraduate Professional Programmes will hold a one-day Education & Career Forum in Jakarta. The theme we have this year is “Future-Ready Your Career!”.

As business cycles become shorter, old jobs are quickly disappearing while new jobs that never existed just a couple years ago are created. Are you prepared for the future?

We are honoured to have prominent business leaders speak on what kind of talents are highly sought after in the modern workplace and we have also invited panel of industry high-flyers to share what it takes to become the “Next Generation Business Leader”.

In the afternoon, hear from our alumni the good times they had as an international student in SMU; their struggles, the excitement and the lifelong friendship they’ve formed. Then our Associate Professor of Accounting (Practice) Themin Suwardy presenting a snippet of how the classroom experience is like in SMU. The event training partner,  EDUPAC-KAPLAN, will share tips and tricks on how to “Ace the GMAT”.

At SMU, we work closely with industry to groom the next generation of leaders.  While our research professors create knowledge, our Practice professors consult for the professional community and gain insight from the current best practices in the industry.  Our students will be able to learn from the best of both worlds and immediately apply the latest knowledge at their workplace. This makes SMU the innovative institution that is changing the face of higher education.

We also have a team of talented case writers producing in-depth, Asia-focused case studies that are being used in both classroom and boardroom in all major continents, so the world can learn the unique way Asia conducts its business that makes it the world’s growth engine.

We look forward to chatting with you in Jakarta and learn how SMU can help prepare your future career and aspirations!

See you in Jakarta!
